About this Level:
- For players 9-10 years of age.
- This age group is exclusively kid pitch. All players on the roster will bat.
- Newly trained umpires and an experienced umpire are at all games.
- Participants undergo player evaluations during winter & spring baseball camps.
- All 9-10 year-olds are given the opportunity to tryout for the All-Star program in June.
- Coaching staff will provide information as to date and time of tryouts.
- The All-Star program requires a copy of the player's birth certificate and a signed Medical Release.
Schedule:
- Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30 –8:30pm.
- Sunday afternoons from 4:00 – 6:00pm.
- Games/practices held at Tiger Goldstick Park and Capilano Park.
What They Need:
- Glove
- Helmet (with chin strap)
- Jock or Jill
- Batting Glove(s)
- Baseball Cleats
- Grey Game Pants
A player wind-up BBQ is held at Ottewell Hall at the end of June. Players will receive their team/individual pictures at this time.
All uniforms must be returned at the end of the season. Teams still in play will be looked after at a later date.
